Report from February Trips
/Friends of Guyana,
We had a glorious February. Thank you for praying for the two teams. Alex and Markie just got back yesterday from Region 9 near Brazil. They had 90 people accept Christ. What a joy to see the harvest come in.
In Region 1 near Venezuela, the pastor training was a wonderful success. Sadly, the rains fell so hard and long that 3 of the pastors couldn't get there. Ten of those who have been in Carl's classes were there along with the 5 new pastors. All of them were blessed by Carl's two full days of teaching. The five new ones just wish they had been in on all the teaching from the past as those who had already come referenced things they had learned. We are delighted to have 18 pastors now in our training. The 3 day training had to be done in two days but the pastors didn't mind long days. The weather was so bad, they had to take an extra day to come out of the jungle to make sure Carl didn't get trapped and miss his flight. On The Sunday morning service when they first got to the village, Carl preached and there were 6 salvations. Four of them were a family with parents and two teens. What a blessing and we know they will be in a good church to be able to learn and grow.
We have started building a church for one of the villages, Maruca. If God lays it on your heart to help, we need $1500 to complete the church for this congregation. They also need a sound system that will cost $300. If you can donate, please send a check to :
